Has it really been that long???

I guess so.....as I have heard from a few people.....you know who you are......I thought I'd recap the last few months in pictures as I am able to download them! Enjoy!

Santa......we were excited to see him this year. A little shy on the happy face front, but overall a good visit!! Benjamin asked for a "polar express", "tractor" and "choo choo's". Can you believe he didn't ask for a baby sister??!!?

A random day at the zoo in November with crazy warm temps! We loved it!

Fun times - raking a billion leaves!!! (at least fun for Benjamin!)

Halloween - Benjamin was a very scary dinosaur - night and day - with or without the costume!!

Ugh. The big boy bed...he actually looks like he likes it here...it's deceiving - the lights are on and we're all in the room with him- I guess that's why!! We're doing better with the big boy bed, but it still remains a problem!!!

On the baby front, we are doing well! The baby continues to grow! We're enjoying this exciting time. Benjamin is looking forward to being a big brother and continues to say that his baby sister is just "soooo cute!" and he also thinks she's wearing her pajamas most of the time.....ya know, she's sleeping in mama's belly. Everything is going along as scheduled so far....two more weeks, but who is counting??!!?

We are looking forward to spending the holidays together and with all family

willing to trek it to Indy!

We're just tickled.......

PINK!!!!!! Just found out that we're having a baby girl.....all of the measurements look great and we got the thumbs up from the doctor....well, at least I think that's what I heard in between my sobs!!! We're so thrilled!!!

Birthdays, play, tractor rides, and more.....

So, I apologize for no posts for a while! Between first trimester sickness and summer busyness, we haven't had much time at home to do blogging!!! I'm making up for it right now!!! Lots of pictures of the last few weeks - out of order, of course, but lots of pictures none-the-less!!!

Tim turned 33 this year - Benjamin had lots of fun helping open presents!

Thanks Gramma Mary for making my Big Boy Bed quilt - he can't wait to use it.....he tells me every night - "I no wait to sleep in big bed with blankie!"

Fairoaks Farm

We went to FairOaks Farm with Gramma Janine and cousins. It was a fun day! We saw moo cows and tractors and they even had a choo choo!!!!

Newport Aquarium - Cincinnati

We took a weekend trip to Cincinnati & visited the Newport Aquarium! Benjamin enjoyed looking at all the fishies "here fishie fishie" was heard more than once!

The shark tank was above & around us - by far the coolest thing there!!!

A Day With Thomas the Tank Engine!!!!

What a day!!! Benjamin loved loved loved going to see Thomas the Train in person......when he saw Thomas coming down the railway, he immediately started running to him....which made mama immediately start running after him as well as one of the train conductors!!! He was so excited!!! We went on a 25 minute train ride on Thomas and took lots of pictures. He still talks about wanting to go visit Thomas again.

What a fun day!!!

5K pictures!!

We walked the 5K during the 500 Festival on May 2nd, 2009 in Tom's memory & to raise awareness for Neurofibromatosis. It was a wonderful day, & I am so thankful to those who were able to make the long trip and for all of the good thoughts from so many family & friends! What a good looking group, eh?? We have many more pictures, but they're not downloaded yet!!

Too much.....

Benjamin celebrated his second (I can't believe it!) birthday on April 21st! The baby is no longer.....just ask him....."I big boy, mama!"

Let's see, one little boy, two years old, three cakes plus cupcakes, and four birthday parties!!!

Easter celebrations just keep going and going ......

We had another Easter party & egg hunt at Gramma Janine's last weekend. Benjamin got lots more goodies from the Easter Bunny..he's been quite good to us this year & followed us so many places!!! It was great to see everybody back in Beecher!

The Easter Bunny came to our house on Saturday!!! Benjamin loved the eggs & took his time opening each egg to eat the m & m's (great idea Easter Bunny! ha).....lots of fun!

Fun Weekend!

We spent last weekend at Gramma & Grandpa's & Aunt Bev's! We had a great time - lots of activity!!! Benjamin helped to make homemade donuts (Gramma Meinhart's recipe!) AKA "gold dust" because Benjamin loves gold dust from the Thomas the Train movie!!! He went for his first tractor ride with Grandpa, & he went on an easter egg hunt!!! He was exhausted!!!!

Oh, how things change.....

We went to see the Easter Bunny Thursday night......this was Benjamin's reaction......."mama, let's go bye bye" .....say again & repeat about 5 more times!


Nope! Still don't like it.

Wake up!

Apparently, Benjamin was up way before we were this morning. By the time we had gotten to his room, he was half undressed & wanting up!!!

Go Illini.......

We went to the Illinois-Purdue game on Saturday. We were all excited to be there.....well, the game wasn't as good as we had hoped, but we still had a good time! Benjamin kept rooting for the Colts (it's so much easier to say than Illini!)!!!

Yeah. Maybe better luck next year!
