"Hi 'Ho Ho'!!"

We saw Mr. Ho Ho Ho himself tonight! Benjamin was a little hesitant at first, but quickly warmed to "ho ho" and enjoyed the visit!!! We can't wait until Christmas!!! We hope everyone has a wonderful, safe holiday!

Thanksgiving plus birthday fun too!

Thanksgiving has come and gone - it's crazy how time flies! We had a whirlwind Thanksgiving - going to Gramma Janine's for Thanksgiving Day and spending time with cousins Sydney and Jack. We had fun and ate way too much yummy food!!! Over the weekend, Gramma, PawPaw, & Beverly came to our house for a festiveThanksgiving weekend. We also celebrated Gramma's Birthday a little early! Benjamin loved the cake! (Happy Birthday Gramma!)

A week in paradise!

We had such a wonderful time on vacation - even without our little monkey! (Thanks to Gramma Mary, Paw Paw, Beverly, and Gramma Janine for taking such great care of him! I'm pretty sure he had a ball while we were gone!) We hit the beaches, the pools, swim-up bars, the restaurants; and we even took a couple of day trips to Cozomel and Isla Mujeres - perfect weather and company - what a great time we had!!!

Benjamin was a monkey for halloween - even now if you ask him to point to the monkey in a book, he points to himself!!!! (He truly got into his halloween character!!)

"Pu-bum"

We went to the "pu-bum" patch on Saturday - had a great time! We went for a hayride, picked the perfect "pu-bums" for daddy, mommy, and Benjamin, watched a puppet show, and drank apple cider. And we still made it back home in time to take a nap!! It was a great day!

Our first vacation with not-so-much-a-baby-anymore Benjamin! We were fortunate this vacation.....Benjamin charmed the hotel manager and got us an upgraded room with a sweet view (plus he brought up milk and cookies before bedtime!). Benjamin enjoyed the view....not so much for the arch, or the river, or the boats, but yes...he loved watching the cars driving below us....he especially liked making the siren noises of the ambulances and police!

Welcome to our blog!!! Really? Do we have a blog?!! Can I really pull this off?!!?!

So, this is the beginning of our family blog. My cousin just sent me her family's blog, & it was so fantastic...what a great way to share the going on's of a family...especially when, like we do, you live a fair distance away from the ones we love. So, we're trying it....here's to keeping up with the blog...as Benjamin says (or is trying to say) "cheers".....[clink of the sippy cup....filled with milk, thank you very much!]
